I was in heaven....

At the stitches & craft show!! The classes I took were amazing :) First, the PVC wallet class with the amazingly talented Jodie from Vintage Ric Rac - she even gave me a few things to finish it off at home and here it is! Then I actually re-learnt how to knit and the knitting craft bar and made this coffee cup cozy. Then I had the last class of the day with the fabulous Cathy from Audrey & Maude and made this bag. I had to run to catch the last train home, but it was finished :) I want to thank both these ladies for sharing their skills with me and for being so lovely!! Thanks ladies!!

I'm excited!!

Two days to go until my day at the Stitches & Craft show!! I can't wait!!

My First Post!!

I'm using this blog to put on paper (as it were) my commitment to try to live a healthy, environmentally friendly, sustainable lifestyle!! To try to leave the earth a better place for my family to live. From today I'm going to be healthier, I'm going to live greener! I'm trying to re-use, reduce & recycle. I'm going to try to mend and re-fashion clothes rather than buy them, make gifts for my friends and family and feed my op-shop and craft addictions! I'm going to post photos of my creations and my inspirations. Let's see how it goes!
